Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

Not sure why but I stopped getting notifications for the thread and lost 20 pages of posts.
I set 18 eggs last night and hopefully I’ll get 4 more this morning to put in. still a February hatch if all goes well.

Yes. So similar to doodles just in chicken form. What makes up an olive egger and easter egger?

Most commonly I see a Marans over blue egg layers to get Olive eggers but I have see a lot of other mixes as well.

I've never had one with a meat spot develop. Like at all. Don't know the "why" behind it but they seem to do exactly what you experienced. A whole lot of nothing.

I was so curious that I made a separate thread. There were a couple other curious cats in there watching with me. You should add your experience!
I'm thinking if enough people have that same experience with meat spots there must be some kind of hormones in the little piece of tissue preventing it from developing. So weird!

I think it's just egg now... I found it after I wrote that

Feeling a bit better than I was yesterday but still sounds like the sepsis hasn't cleared and the antibiotics for it are rough.

I don't know if I said it on here but along with pneumonia I have sepsis. I knocked my birthday out of the ballpark this year

Yeah and to think I was going to just let it run its course... We all thought it was the flu because I had all the symptoms but tamiflu did nothing and now we know why. I'm good though at least I can still use my phone
