Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

I'm so sorry everyone is so sick! I really really hope I don't catch anything. I have been so lucky so far. It seems like everyone is catching something. Get well soon everyone! There's more chicks that need hatching!

I have some 7 eggs due to hatch Feb 6. Today would be day 15 for them! I'm kind of worried that the air cells are too small though...

Can you mark the air cell and take a picture? Maybe we can help you determine if they're too small? You could always lower the humidity for the next few days until lockdown as well.

Wait. Was the 16 year old in the brooder with the chicks or trying it out before they went in? I have a 15 year old that would be in there with chicks all over her if it was big enough?

They may be a tad on the small side for day 15 but I would say they're pretty close and nothing that I would be concerned about!

She got home from work and went to her room where the brooder box is. Thought nothing of it, then I went to check on the 5 chicks that are in there. Walked in and heard her saying “don’t judge, don’t judge, don’t judge mom” but couldn’t see her.

In with the babies she was.
