Yeah I still have infection in my bloodstream. I have a Hickman in my chest and they think that that would be the only point of access where it could have entered. I'm going to have to get a picc line because the medication that's running through my Hickman line can't be stopped... I can't get the picc line until the infection is gone thoughoh no, you've been very sick my friend. Don't mess around with pneumonia and sepsis wow. Are you still in the hospital? Healing vibes your way.![]()

I actually had someone who takes roosters from me ask me if I would hatch him ducklingsMostly word of mouth now but I started asking friends what they wanted and I would do custom hatches for them. Occasionally I would post in facebook but they changed their rules on posting animals, MeWe is a newer platform that allows people to post animals for sale, and then there is always craigslist, a lot of people use craigslist but I actually never have. It all depends on where you are how you start getting the word out.
There aren't any rules about minimums when you're selling them yourself. If someone only wants one chick I do make sure they already have chicks that they're putting it in with though or if I only have 3 chicks left I might say, all three must go together.

I think it's different rules for stores and for private sellers. I know Virginia in the stores you can't buy any less than six chicks or two ducklings... But when I sell them, I can sell as many as I want or as little as I want.Hmm Im sure the rules are different in every state but in general what are the rules? and how do you sell ie: word of mouth or ad? Im pretty sure here in MA if you sell there is like a chick minimum like 6 chicks or something but what if you want to just sell a few? Just curious
Honestly I've done four or five hatches so far and I only have three chicks from those hatches left. One is a cockerel he's going to be the families dinner. Then I have Spook and Wednesday that were hatched for the Halloween hatch along and I'm keeping them because they're pullets.I love hatching too but what do you do with all those chicks?

The pneumonia isn't helping either. They don't even know how both of these problems even occurred just out of the blue. I'm sure some tool decided it would be fun to get a bunch of people sick when I went to the swim meet.
I take rituxan infusions every 6 months and it wipes out my immune system so I hate when people think that it's cool to go out in public sick. They don't think about the people on chemo or infusions that get sick very easily due to their carelessness. All I did was go out in public to go watch my son swim
Now I'm going to have to miss his next swim meet because I'm not allowed in public for 2 months or moreI've been heartbroken over it all morning
And I'm not sure where you live maybe Massachusetts, but I think you can look for local chicken swaps. Just make sure you have biosecurity.I love hatching too but what do you do with all those chicks?

All I did was put one ad out and all of my chicks are gone.
I even have somebody that will take any unwanted roosters at any point in time for me. I guess I've got it made
