Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

:eek:You're taking this really well considering your circumstances. Sending all kinds of good vibes, healing mojo, prayers, andhappy thoughts your way, you need a break!
I'd rather not get depressed over some circumstance I have zero control over. I'll let the Drs do their job because I didn't even want to come in. If I didn't I could only imagine what would've happened.
The same often happens to me. Even when I intend to keep a few if I put the word out I get so many requests that I end up not keeping any, lol. I've learned to stay quiet until I have the babies I want or like right now, I have a broody hen that I will give some of the babies to and hers won't be available to the public until roosters are exposed.
I had a bunch of cute feathered leg ones that I wanted to keep, but the person asked for 20 chicks and I only had 10 so I had to give her the 10 that I was going to let grow out and see if any were pullet 😂

I hope I get a broody this year because I would rather my chicken hatch them than me.

I do want to grab some of my ducks eggs when they start laying because I have a Muscovy and Pekin so if I crossed them they would become mules and they could never reproduce, which to me is awesome! All they would be able to do is lay eggs or be for meat and that's all I would want them for!

I don't know if I would trust them for that cheap, but get the bator ready 😂🙈

Well she has "decoration/blowing eggs" available for $12 and "hatching eggs" for $20...I think it seems honest but I've never been a huge fan of craigslist because it's more difficult for open conversations with people that have had experience with the seller and not just privately emailing the seller. For that price it's almost worth it just to see, lol, I don't think I can get away with keeping an emu in a neighborhood though...can I? :lau

Buy it a harness 😂

You can walk your emu around the neighboood...

Nothing to see here people just walk in my emu 🚶‍♀️

I love this! I'm totally rebelling against the neighborhood rules, they just changed HOA presidents and are going to try to get upset with people that have been here for years and years. SO, the plan to hatch an emu and take it for walks until we find somewhere else to live...is sounding very appealing. :lau

Nah, that's not abnormal at all.

Now if and when you set up 3 cams that stream live, differing angles of the incubator and download the phone app so you can check on them as often as you want when not around or doing farm chores.

then you might have a....

Wait a moment

that's me.

Sorry move along

No over the top hatching happening over here.
