Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

Nurture Right 360 and IncuView are my favorite incubators but they both have horizontal turners. Brinsea Ovation series have an upright turner I believe and they make very reliable incubators but you may get sticker shock from the prices, that's the only reason I don't have one yet.

Yeah, as of right now I’m thinking I’ll just get another Incuview and hand turn in cartons if I have air cell problems because I can’t quite afford a Brinsea right now.

Since 20 eggs are in the incubator and I’m hoping to put another 10 under a broody soon, 4 of my growouts went to their new home.

Three golds and one white! Elsa didn’t want them to go...

I’m really hoping fertility is good on these eggs.

I actually prefer the Nurture Right 360 over the IncuView, but it's the only incubator I like more than the IncuView as of right now. NR360 is less expensive, especially if you wait until you get a coupon for Tractor Supply. The IncuView is hands down the easiest incubator I have ever cleaned though. I'm planning on doing a side by side evaluation of the incubators I still have, which are 2 Nurture Right 360s, an IncuView, and a Hovabator 1502N. I may buy one more incubator for the test too, but I'm not sure if I will bite the bullet and get a Brinsea or get a more cost effective one. I may make a thread and ask for opinions as to what others would want to see tested side by side.

Hey all. I'm a bit late to the party. I've read most of the posts and loved all the pics.

I have 7 duck eggs in the incubator on day 21. They will be a cross of muscovy father and pekin mothers, so mules. I saw someone mention that they wanted to hatch mules. I've read with a muscovy as the drake, none of the ducklings will lay eggs or be fertile. They will be raised for meat. That's the plan anyway. :) So far they are doing well. I think they supposed to hatch on the 32nd day. This is my first time hatching these.

I would like to get one to use as a hatcher. Right now I have a Brinsea mini, maxi and an ovation 28. Theoretically, I could move up to 20 from the ovation to hatch in the maxi, and I actually use the mini a lot for fertility checks or just small runs. The pitas are my first incubation in the ovation, so cross fingers with me!!!

we only have turkey and chicken eggs due this weekend... I think a couple may be marans but I will have to double check. I have a batch ( over 50) of shipped eggs in my brinsea ovatation ex56 that I will be candling tomorrow(day 8) and pulling the clears. I hate to pull any so early, I like to wait longer but I Need the incubator for lockdown. and there are Lots of eggs on the counter waiting for their spot in the incubator so?? its time. I even got impatient and send 50 eggs home with a friend (assorted duck, turkey and chicken) to be set in his incubator.

Are you doing any of the black NN's for your daughter? I have some shipped egg's that came in today, and 20 of them are the B/B/S NN's, and 6 of the FBCM's.
