Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

I don't know if I should be happy for you having all those supplies on hand or not happy because you need all those supplies <3 How are you feeling today? Any better?
I'm better My blood cultures are finally showing up negative! They have to put a picc line in my arm So that I can do IV antibiotics at home.

They're are saying I can go home tomorrow. I was having reactions to the vancomycin

I have so many medical supplies that I could probably have a hospital at my house. I have special IV meds I've been on for 10 years and they will never be stopped for the rest of my life so I have medical supplies for that.

I have alcohol swabs, iodine swabs, sterile drapes, sterile gloves, sterile needles and syringes, sterile water, sterile masks, sterile dressings... Pretty much everything needed for any emergency

This was my assist pack last year but the picture needs to be updated...with the stainless steel screw, med wrap, styptic power, Vaseline...lol, the kit just kind of keeps growing.

Could you use a very tiny drill bit like this but use it with your fingers not an actual drill and of course sterilize it first. I feel like it would be a little easier to hold onto than a screw and it’s the same width throughout so you control the size of the hole better maybe:idunnojusf a thought. Hopefully neither one of us will have to go this route but best to be prepared.

edit: forgot to post picture:th

You can use just about any sterilized implement if you're careful. There's no reason that wouldn't work. I used to use the push pin in the above image and I would just score and score and score carefully until I could pick at it with the tweezers or the metal cuticle pusher (which is a surprisingly helpful tool when assisting, lol).
