It's really hard to tell from the picture but I kind of suspect that it's malpositioned.

Yeah I can see an eye but definitely not a beak. I pricked the membrane and I bled a tiny bit so I put it back to regroup. What next

I think a wing might be over it’s beak since I can’t see it. I broke a hole in the membrane where the I thought the geek should be because it was realllly struggling in there.

I’m about to be gone for an hour. I’ll put coconut oil on it before I leave in half an hour. Should I peel back more membrane since it’s not bleeding too bad?

I don't see a ton of heavy veining which is good but if you're seeing blood that's usually my sign to stop and wait. While you're out for a bit may be the perfect amount of time for it to finish absorbing. Fingers crossed!

Definitely some blood vessels yet, but I zoomed in, is that the beak? I can’t tell, but it kind of looks like it.

We’ve got really bad storms expected from tomorrow afternoon onwards till Monday...

We are being warned of power cuts. Knowing my luck, we will loose power through the night and it’ll turn the incubators off

I touched it very softly with my finger and it doesn’t feel hard. I am about to re-check and apply a little more coconut oil before I leave.
