Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

Ummm so I opened the membrane and there is liquid in there which I did not forsee. What do I do. I can’t tell what’s going on.
I would try peeling away a bit more of the shell near where you have it open maybe. If you were able to remove that much membrane without bleeding, you might be successful getting rid of a little more shell. But only if you feel comfortable doing that, of course

I think I see the shoulder here maybe?
Get a qtip and probe very carefully on the outside edge my guess is you'll be able to feel better that ay. Look for thTe neck and gently see if you can pull it towards the air cell. Very gently lots of times they will push and help.

35 little fluffs total in the brooder. This batch 19 out of 23 shipped eggs hatched and are healthy. Will not complain with a little over 80% hatch rate. Out of the 4 that didn’t hatch, only 2 weren’t ready. Sadly 2 were and weren’t able to get out. Yolks absorbed and everything. Bummer!

Have no clue who is who now! There are just babies of all colors, everywhere. Somewhere in this bundle of purebreds, there is one little baby that’s from my two adult mutt hens. Will be interesting figuring out which one.

I can see what almost looks like an eye and some of the head neck as well as a bit of the underbelly? I can try to illustrate but I could be completely wrong.
