TOO MANY BREEDS!!!!

I would think about the feathered leg breeds might not be good. You live in WA, is it overly rainy there? Will you have MUD in the run area for long amounts of time?

I had Polish and Silkies way back. here in the snow was not a good mix, frozen leg feathers and top hats.

I will have a completely heated coop and covered run for them. also my neighbor has feathered feet and polish. and they are completely unheated and are doing fine, (i personally am gonna treat these chickens like my babies) LOL!

I have bantam who breed like a nut.Im pretty sure she has d’uccle somwhere in her genres considering the fact the lady had a ton,and she was a hatched at the farm. And she has small feathers on her feet. Also been enjoying Cochin bantams.
