Too many roosters???

I'm by no means saying it shouldn't be done nor am i a save the whales type person, but i don't see much reason to castrate a rooster in the first place. If he's mean or you have too many of them then put him in the freezer or give him away. O.k. so they get larger if you castrate them, it's not like they will double in size. I mean how much size will you actually gain from this?

If you think it's the way to go then do it. Just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
