Too much calcium?

I'll get a pic today if she does it again. it was actually twice - both times there was some other color in there too - but mostly white - more than normal. She's been laying since July and has laid all winter - still laying with no issues. I thought maybe she'd eaten a lot of oyster shell - like Enigmius thought maybe too much calcium for one day. :idunno It definitely was different than the normal poops..
I look forward to seeing the pictures!

Back in the 60's and 50's I used see lots of dog poo that was white, they say it was because the owners used to give them bones a lot to chew on, they don't do it as much now.
So this brings to the point, is there any form of bone meal in the feed you are giving the chickens, I may be way off here but just a thought?

Interesting theory!

Well everything looked fine today.
But the one that was there yesterday looked like a hardened white paste. Like if you took white toothpaste and squiggled in one spot and it hardened into a folded, overlapped swirl. If that makes sense. It looked firm and white.
I'm always suspicious when I find an abnormal poop, but if they don't keep producing them I don't worry.

I went out just now and found a similar one. It looks gray because of my shadow. But it has never looked this white and hard until they started laying and I provided oyster shell.normally their poop is brown, I guess because their feed is brown. I do feed them peas as a treat everyday, but only a single handful that is shared amongst all four runners.
