Too much of Cinnamon powder

I think cinnamon had a ton of benefits. It antiinflammatory, antioxidant, and immune boosting. I don’t feed cinnamon, but I do put it in my treats.
I still think there is no reason to feed it to the point of poisoning them. That’s just insane.

Personally, I save the seasonings for when I cook the birds or the eggs.

There are many claims of benefits from many possible additives but few, if any, stand up to rigorous, scientific analysis in a properly-conducted, double-blind study. :)

I would NEVER put any of these additives into the birds' food itself but, if I were to use anything, I would offer it separately rather than risk them refusing to eat because the additive was irritating or unpleasant.

I have noticed that when I prune herbs and toss bug-chewed springs that I don't want for my own kitchen into the run the chickens rarely eat any of them. Too strong-flavored, I presume -- those volatile oils that make such good seasoning can be irritating in excessive quantities.
