Is this Silver Lakenvelder chick on the left -- with the dark head -- too pretty to be a pullet? Or is it too early to tell?
Her comb is slightly more developed than the comb on the lighter-headed bird. But it's not as prominent as the Golden Lakenvelder rooster, either. All three of these birds are just under eight weeks old.
What other features should I be looking for? I can't keep her if she's a cockerel.
