took eggs into the food bank today

We'd been saving up eggs for the girls when they came home for Christmas but they only took about half of what we had so took 24 dozen to the food bank first thing this morning. The guy in charge was happy to get them says they are serving about 14 - 20 families so the eggs will go fast.

I have a friend who will NOT take fresh eggs from me. And I have a few family members who truly don't seem to notice a difference between common store bought eggs and fresh free range eggs. I'm sure all the families will appreciate the eggs, but I wonder who will appreciate the eggs...who will notice a difference. It's good to see all those eggs going to help others...
