Took the Plunge

All 4 in my flock turned out to be Roos. I'm trying to re-home 3 of them and keep my black one. Re-homing them is so hard. I can't find someone to take them. If I don't find someone soon I'm worried they are going to hurt each other. I have another group of 8 chicks in the main house of the coop that I'm hoping are females so I'm thinking they are getting protective of them. They don't interact directly. Hoping for some good luck this round. Man this chicken raising is hard work.

Have you tried your state thread in hopes maybe someone locally can take your roos? Scroll thru here and find your state thread...

You can also place an ad in our Buy Sell and Trade section in hopes someone will take them there as well...

There are several section in the Buy Sell and Trade section you can post an ad. You will need a total of 20 posts to place an ad, so post 2 more comments here and you will have 20. :-)

Good luck finding them homes. I hope it all goes well for you. :-)

We found a lady who sells cochins around our home and we got 8 older chicks and she did the best at sexing them for us. We are raising them in a separate part of the coop for now but I really need to get rid of cockerals!
