Silkies are great for dressing up. Our daughter discovered that American girl doll clothes work well. LOL

Yes. They are from imported English bloodlines, so bigger and fluffier than what most people would think. Mature hens are 8-10 lbs and roosters about 13-15lbs

Our big blue hen is a riot when broody.

Here was our all-time favorite rooster. Always the gentle giant. Good with kids and great flock leader.

We actually give those to the stray chick that mom kicks out. Put it next to the heater and they think they have a mom.
