Topic of the Week - Christmas in the Coop

I went all out this year, and gave so many treats to my chickens and horse. Pounds of meally worms. Sweet potato pie, a case of Washington apples. Their stockings were full Christmas morning.

Oop we go through about 5lbs every 2 months

My girls got a cabbage pinata, a recycled pool ladder and some new toys for Christmas. I on the other hand got the coolest shoes i would have never worn before becoming a chicken mom. And I have been dying to share with people who would understand, lol.

I am surprised how comfortable they are!

Yeah, yeah there very comfortable! Very easy to run around and ketch the goats or chickens.

It's Christmas time, so just for fun, this week I'd like to see and hear how you all celebrate Christmas with your fowl? Do you decorate the coop? Give the birds a little Christmas treat? Take pics with your birds for your own Christmas cards?

Awwww I was gonna put lights in their run but never got the time. They still have a wreath on the coop door from last year

Dressed them for a photo shoot. They had a wreath and stockings on the coop door. They get treats all year round though.

First, I also have those shoes!

Second, my girls have their own stocking, hung on the fireplace next to my child's. They got some seed wreaths which they LOVE. I wish I could get a flock block, but it's way too big for only 4 chickens. I like the other treats people have posted; I'm going to try those, too!
