Topic of the Week - Incubating eggs

Pics
Thank you everyone for being so patient and answering my questions. I've never incubated before and would like to do it right. So excited!

Set up the incubator. It is supposed to be self turning, and has a tray with little cups in it to hold the eggs. I wanted to know if this will self turn the eggs, and if so, how does it work? It's not hooked up to a motor or anything. Also, what position do you put the eggs in? I have them vertical, with the fat end down. These should be my last questions unless something goes wrong...

With a good candler you should be able to see two yolks. If I were you I would not incubate double yolkers or abnormally large or small eggs.

Every time someone sends me a really small egg, by comparison to the other eggs, it doesn't make it. Normally, it's a blood ring in a few days.

Got three olive eggers so far, couple more are trying. :) I will get some pictures in the morning. You can really see the Saipan influence. The chicks are HUGE
