Topic of the Week - What do/can you do with unwanted roosters?

Thank you for the link of rehoming roosters. I live in Australia and I had search as best as I know how, many of the the Animal Sanctuaries reached their quota of roosters, so they could not take him and one recommended me to the Animals Rescue Farm and his fate was a slow painful dead had I not took him back. They have too many animals that they can not care for all, that is my thought why my rooster was so sick when he was there for a month.

I couldn't and wouldn't kill and eat a animal who I have raised and looked after..
I would have to keep him.
And not have any eggs hatched if I didn't want boys..Rather buy some new pullets if thats what I needed..
Same, but I have an Hoa that does not allow roosters

I live in an urban area where rooster is not allow. If I have a small farm land then I would keep my rooster. He keeps the girls peaceful, and look after them. It is so nice to see how they interact with each other. It is really very sad to not keep my rooster.
