I am sorry for your loss, but I had a similiar thing happen to me. When my chicks were 2 days old, I had them outside in my bird hut, in a brooder, I was sure it was perfect for them. Somehow I was wrong, and it poured down rain. I went out to the hut and the brooder was filled with water an inch deep and they were all soaking wet. If I had waited even a few seconds longer I am sure they would have been goners.
I grabbed them all up and brought them into the house and blew them dry with the blow dryer on low. The loved it. They also got to live in the bathtub for the next week on an electric blankie and fluffy towels.. They all made it, none of them got sick. So I think yours will be fine.
