I would just use one or the other—saline or the Epsom salts.

I had an ex-batt that lacerated the inside of her vent on a broken egg shell 2 years ago and used 8 tbsp of sea salt in the bucket and she healed very well. So I know the sea salt should work wonders. I put a bit of Espom salt in the mix with this lady to give her the benefit of both. I think the main thing here is to keep her crate covered and stop her laying. These ladies already get 16 hrs of darkness a day, as it is dark here at 4:30pm and they are let out at 8:30am, so I'll just have to keep her in the dark full time for some days with just food and water breaks. Fingers crossed I get her sorted soon.I would just use one or the other—saline or the Epsom salts.
