Torpedo eggs (long skinny ones) - post pics, please!

Our one EE who is laying started out with super-torpedo-y eggs, but they seem to have rounded out a little bit. (We're on egg 9 or 10 now.) Do they stay torpedo-shaped, or do they get more oval? Or is it random?

Haha, I weigh all of our eggs. They've gone up from 43 grams to 48 (almost 1.7 ounces).

My EE lays eggs like that sometimes too. In fact, hers are always a bit more narrow than my other hens eggs, but sometimes they are extreme! Sometimes they also have a little valley ring around the middle of it-like there was a rubber band around it when it formed!

My first EE that laid torpedos started out as torpedos, then eventually they evolved into "regular" shaped eggs. I was sad, because the torpedo eggs are neat, I think!

My Carmen, who laid me the 5 torpedos in January and then stopped - all hers were torpedos except the last one, which was torpedo on one end, rounded on the other. I think I have a picture of that one alongside a regular brown egg - yep, here it is - I'll be curious to see if she continues laying torpedos or if they turn to regular-shaped eggs. I hope they stay torpedoish! Is that a word?:
