Torpedo eggs (long skinny ones) - post pics, please!

    Torpedo eggs (as DH calls them) just fascinate me! My Carmen began laying in January and laid me 5 neat torpedo eggs, and then stopped about a week ago. I can't wait until she begins again! I'd love to see YOUR torpedo eggs, so please post pics!

    My EEer's lay eggs like that too.

    So cool! I have a barred rock and an ee that lays eggs like that, unfortunately they are not laying right now. [​IMG]

    Well, THAT is very interesting! Two responses, and all three of us get torpedo eggs from EEs....hmmm....

    Here's one I got several weeks ago along with a normal egg and another really big egg.

    You're right, Heidi - those are SOME WOMBO eggs! Did you weigh them? I confess, I weigh all of mine...a bit obsessed, I am...

    No kidding...... Obsessed just a bit I'd say. [​IMG] If I had a scale by my sink I'd probably do the same.
