Torpedo eggs?

I have a black austrolorp who is 9 months old and has been laying beautiful brown eggs until just recently. Now we're getting torpedo eggs and they are lighter brown in color! Is this normal? We have 4 hens, 1 buff orp, 1 ameracauna, 1 golden comet and the austrolorp.

It has been my experience that pointy eggs are a sign of some malformation in the infundibulum or tract. Possibly some tissue overgrowth somewhere that narrows or pushes on the tract. Often these chickens might even stop laying and drop the material in the intraperitoneal region, causing swelling or inflammation/peritonitis. Their diaphragm can get pushed against eventually, causing breathing difficulties and decreased appetite is always a sign of ill health.
It is my understanding that this is not a normal symptom (torpedo shaped eggs).
Chickens are amazing at hiding signs of suffering until they are in deep with an illness as many of you already know. 🙏🏽🕊
