when is the fall troy swap meet or did i miss it thanks kenny
I saw on another thread that it's this weekend at the Miami County Fairgrounds. I'm trying to find out more info about it, like a list of what might be there.
I don't know more about it, but when they used to have it all the time, there was a bunch of stuff there, lots and lots of chickens, rabbits, pigeons, peafowl, turkeys, rabbits, goats, cows, horses, ducks, reptiles etc... everything even flea market style stuff! It was a great swap, I was soo disappointed when they stopped doing it all the time!
Talked to the fellow putting it in on tonight.
Sat. and Sun. Sept. 19-20 at the Miami County Faigrounds
exit 78 off I-75 and then south 3 miles
can set up anytime after 3 Fri. afternoon
setup $25 for the weekend or $15 per day
his contact # (937)-335-0806 after 4
expecting poultry and small animals
What time do gates open for buyers?
My guess would be when ever you get there, at least 8-5
Looks like Sat. weather should be great.
did anyone check this out today thinking about going on sunday but don,t want to drive that far if it isnt worth it
Sorry for the late reply. We attended today... wasn't a whole lot there... we did get some guineas there were some laying hens and some other chickens. One vendor that had a bunch of different bantams packed up and left pretty early. Prices were fair and people were very nice, but not very big, maybe 10 or so vendors with animals there...mostly birds, other than that, some goat kids, rabbits, puppies, and kittens is all that were there.
Thanks for info
