I got so excited that it was my last day (day 20) of incubating and hand turning 14 silkie-RIR eggs that it didn't even occur to me not to candle them today! What was I thinking?? Anyway, my question is- how bad is this? The humidity and the temp are high, and I put them in a carton, but did I ruin everything and kill 14 little babies, or is "lockdown" simply a suggestion?
Thanks in advance for responses, I'm very worried.

I agree. There's nothing you can do now but wait. But do not open the incubator! We learned this the hard way.

Yes ma'am! Get yourself busy with something and step awayyyyyy from the incy! Things might just turn out fine........

Wishing you good hatching luck!

don't worry this morning I thought was day 18. I had planed on stoping turning, candleing and bump the humidity. I heard PEEPING at 5:15 am there was a pip recheched my dates Its day 21 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! verry quickly added water. so far I have one out and one piped several rockers.

If you put them in a carton then they should be fine. Keep your humidity up and you should be just fine. Good luck with your hatch!!!
