Totally inexperienced, but totally in love!

I’ve been an animal lover all my life, from saving pigeons in my parents barn, fostering dogs that came in from Texas, and now becoming a chicken enthusiast!
I was told to buy lots of chicks to start out because lots of them ALWAYS end up dying during transport so I bought 20 chickens through the mail, and only one chick passed away the second day I had them. My husband graciously built me a big coop for all my chickens. There are Americana’s and Golden Comet’s.
Thank you in advance for all the support, interesting details, and advice I will need to help with my chicken adventures.
