tough decision - d'uccles or bantam cochins?

Its time to add to the flock. I want to hatch out d'uccles and cochins but need to know which one to start with. I am looking for a good layer with alot of personality. Good natured and docile. I wanted to go with standard cochins but don't know if I should.

Whats your opinion?

Wow! You're back! Welcome back. I don't have an answer to your question, but just wanted to say

Honestly, both aren't very good layers lol. The standard cochins will give you bigger eggs, but less than the d'uccles do. My d'uccle is so incredibly sweet! She flys up on your arm on command and just LOVES people! Even our old roo was very sweet. As a breed, d'uccles are definately one of my favorites.
