Toulbunt orpington??

You may be right. I do have 3 Tolbunt hens and 1 roo . If I new how to post pics I would. I bought the 1st barred roo and appoligize for calling him a tolbunt but he does have some in him. I just like the colors. If you want to call him a crele thats OK with me since I raise them as a hobby and not to try to sell them for something they are not. I give more away than I have ever sold.

One in sixty four will be tolbunt.

Alright i think i may start that then....so your guranteeign that out of 64 chicks one will be a toulbunt?

No, that would be the average. Just like if you hatch one hundred chicks from an all blue flock most likely you will get around 50% blue 25% splash and 25% black. In addition to the one in sixty four tolbunt you will also hatch some gold laced, gold laced carrying mottling, gold columbians, gold quail, incomplete laced, ect.

Alright so i will get a lot of possibilities? Now out of the 1 i get out of 64 i will keep....and when i get a pair do i breed them? And will their offspring then give me pure toulbunt orps then?

Yes, you could also breed them to gold laced orpingtons. The F1s from this cross will all carry mottling and when bred together will produce 25% tolbunt offspring.
