Toulesse geese attacked at night

They are my babies and vet spoiled there's a good chance they sleep inside every night. I also want them to lead a normal life. I never imagined they would be such an important part of my life they are definitely our family members. I was devastated when this happened and I would rather them live indoors than have then viciously killed. I actually do have a camera that I purchased soley for them when i started leaving outside when they were maturing from babies. I'm going to start putting it outside again at night just to see if I see anything, even though they will be kept inside.
Trust me, I know exactly how you feel. I never in a million years thought that I would be so bonded to my two geese. I love them, they are my babies and they are spoiled. I would be devastated if anything happened to them because, as you said they are like family. If I am inside and I even hear a hint of an alarm call from them I run outside like a rabid mama grizzly goose super hero ready to take on the world for them. If anyone had told me before that they could be so personable, I would've laughed. I guess people laugh at me now, and that's okay.:D

Very sweet, I didn't get my Toulouse female until she was 4 months old and she had been on pasture with her parents and sibs so not a lot of human contact till we brought her homes. She is now 6 yrs old she will eat out of my hand and talk to me but she sure doesn't like to be touched or picked up. She is still my baby along with her mate who is an Embden gander and 11 yrs old he was hatched here but under a Muscovy duck so I didn't get a whole lot of hands on with him although I can rub his head when it's not breeding season.

My male with Angel wing love being held , the other one will allow it but she don't particularly like it. They both get lots of kisses and they love head kisses . There very spoiled. A while back I was scared I would have to regime them because they were so loud. I cried for 2 weeks and decided I couldn't do it . I was afraid they would be scared and I knew my life wouldn't be the same without them . I will never get rid of them and I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure their safe. They have become a little skittish of me because of all the meds and would care I had to give them last 3 weeks but they still follow me everywhere and want to be around me

One last thing about an hour ago I noticed my more injured goose had blood on one of his feathers and after looking closer it is a broke blood feather . I held pressure on it and it's no longer bleeding right now. I'm going to keep a close watch on it all night. Do I need to pluck out that feather? These are my first pet geese and I've never had to pluck one of their feathers. I really hate to do something that will cause him pain but at the same time I want to do what's best for him. Recommendations?
