Keep showing her, moisten her feed with warm water. How old is she? put some moistened feed on your finger and try to put a little into her bill. so she tastes it.
She is a day or two past a week old.
I will try this, see what I can get out of her!
I was worried this morning that I couldn't find her but she had crawled under her stuffed giraffe and wrapped herself all up in her blanket! So cute

Besides "Rooster Booster" Vitamins and Electrolytes, I also offered boiled, crumbled up chicken eggs to my new arrivals for the first couple of days. (My goslings were shipped to me from the breeder.) The eggs were an instant hit! Much of the eggs did end up in the drinking water and made additional water changes necessary, especially since the water was quite warm from the brooder lamp.

Your little one is adorable, hope she gets the hang of it soon. Does she have a confined area with water and feed in plain sight?

She's eating now, but I haven't seen her drink from her water dish. She is in a dog crate with the bows of food and water by the door so they are easy to see. I was washing the poop off her feet this morning and she took to drinking the nice warm right away. Could the water in her kennel be too cold?

room temp to slightly warm water with a touch of sugar in it will encourage her to drink. Avoid chick waterers as they arent deep enough for a goslings head. Dont give the sugar water for too long, but its a nice booster to the system of a young bird who has been stressed moving to a new home

I am just using a round glass pyrex dish. The food is in a chick feeder though because I didn't have anything else heavy enough that she wouldn't tip over.

She seems really good. Eating and drinking and pooping lots haha.
I know that older feathered geese usually take daily baths, do I need to do that for her while she is still so young? She didn't really play in it the day, just drink it and try to climb out of the sink.

Hi everyone and hi Kukupecpec. I am getting a couple of T goslings soon. Kuku is bringing me two when she comes this weekend to pick up the young Serama chickens I have for her. Be my first geese ever and I am excited! Glad Kuku has been asking these questions for I have the same ones. So my babies will need niacin. Isn't yeast really expensive? Do they get it only while growing? How long? I also live in Arizona we do have other green type weeds. Lots of mallow around. Will that have the niacin they need? How about grass hay or alfalfa? Thanks
