No eggs yet, but they started building an obvious nest about 2 days ago, so I don't expect it will be much longer!

Thank you! She LOVES the geese and wanted to hold the egg while it was still warm. Her 10 year old brother is getting turkeys this spring!

That's cool is he in 4H? are you going to let them hatch this year? goslings that is. lol

We live out in the boonies so 4-H isn't a realistic thing for us, but he loves critters! I don't think I'll hatch goslings because I'll end up wanting to keep them all!

Boy isn't that the truth, since I'm thinking my gander is sterile I am getting some eggs from Iain Utah for Missy to hatch I'm being realistic though and only getting 4 from her. Maybe dh will let me keep 1 ...or 2

I enjoyed watching my gander raise Muscovy ducklings I am excited to see him raise some goslings with Missy. I think it such a great idea getting children involved with animals learning to care for them etc.

It comes so naturally to my son. The first time he touched a horse he melted into a big puddle LOL. Funniest and sweetest thing I ever saw!

I bet it was. he'll have to come here and show us his turkeys when he gets them, you can slip them into one of your posts about the geese.
