Hopefully it will hatch! But next year you will have a better broody goose so she will improve a lot more so its good that she brooded this year it will be excellent if she hatched a gosling

What do you think about fertility my gander is 7yrs as of today actually, my goose is 2. last year every eggs that I opened wasn't fertile she sat on 9 none were fertile, and this year she laid 34 eggs and only 1 has made it this far.

This mix will be nice breed they will have orange beak with black tip and black at the beak area and they will get knobs (males will be noticeable) you have to wait a while till they can be sexed

They are so adorable I don't know how your going to be able to give 2 up, it sure would be hard for me.

Molly's remaining 3 are about three weeks old. They will most likely be a Toulouse/African mix as well. I know the big guys, Albus and Adele are Toulouse/African mixes. They have mottled beaks, no knobs and lean more towards Toulouse than African.

Here's all 6 of them giving me crap for being in the pen the same time they were. Molly is the Mom. Albus and Adele are last year's hatch.

Miss lydia embden ganders do lose a lot of their fertilty after year 6 but are still very fertile so we will see next year

Hope you are right about one male and two females. In any case one of the females is now named Lydia. I have to come up with two more names (one female and one gender neutral) in recognition of servpolice...any suggestions?

So how many people did it take clmschke to seperate the two gooslings from Molly and the guarding sibslings ?

LOL.. It took 3. Our son held off Albus. I held off Adele and Dave plucked up the two goslings while getting furiously pecked and hissed by Molly. It was a sight!
