In July I adopted two Toulouse goslings at the age of two weeks. One looks like a true Toulouse (name is Pong) but the other (who is Peep) is slimmer, has a longer neck which is a light grey on the front and sides and dark grey on the back and top and has a white V across his/her chest. Body colour is similar but Peep's slightly lighter grey then Pong. They are just pets and bodyguards for my hens and don't plan on breeding them (if they do turn out to be a male and a female) but would like to know if Peep's just a weird Toulouse or not a full Toulouse at all. Their personalities are totally different, Pong hangs out with me, lets me touch him and honks when he sees or hears me, Peep comes for treats, likes to lie beside me but doesn't like to be touched and makes kew-kew noise when she/he sees me. The lady I got them from said they came from different Toulouse nest boxes (so not siblings) but she also raises Embden geese.
