Toy rant, why does everything have someone on it?

What if you had no clothes and someone handed you a tee-shirt....would the face on it matter?

to bratz! i wish i were not growing up in this day and time. i am the odd ball basically, i never watched Hanna Montana in my life,or high school musical,or much T.V. for that matter, i prefer to read books. i am glad i am homeschooled, the only time that i ever get pressured to do this stuff is at Co-Op,once i was told that i look like a character from Hanna Montana,
sickbyc.gif
then she asked me what my favorite show is and i told them "none of the shows." that shocked them a whole lot, then once some one asked if i had a T.V. in my room
sickbyc.gif
, "i don't, but my little brother does." she nearly did this

on the spot! i have a radio in my room, but i have no desire to listen to Disney channel, the shows my little brother watches are on Boom, they are all the cartoons from the 60's & 70's & 80's, witch are a whole lot better than the ones that they have now! i love jonny quest too...

My wife goes way overboard for our 6-year-old boy demon-child at Christmas and birthdays. He usually ignores the toys and plays with the boxes.

And I'm convinced that the present he'd appreciate and use above all others would be a dump-truck load of dirt.

I am seriously thinking about that for my 2 yr old's next birthday.

He loves the outdoors and anything he can shovel/scoop to fill a bucket or a truck with.

Hey Prissy, My son is two, too! We're getting him a Hess style fire truck (he loves trucks) and a microphone....he loves to sing and dance. It is hilarious.

I hate all the writing and faces on toys and clothes too. I had to settle for sunglasses with Diego on them cause I couldn't find anything else...anywhere!

We buy most of our clothes at yard sales but Im still picky and have managed to scrounge together a magnificent wardrobe.

My MIL just texted...what size is he now

last year we got Thomas the train overalls

I told her this year it is very important to buy stock in his college fund. It may never be this low ever again and the investment in a must. So that's the route we're going. Maybe we'll celebrate Christmas with no toys..the way it should be...then when everything is on sale, I'll give the kids some cash for a fun shopping spree
