but that fell to firestone, not ford. Ford did send out notices on the tires..... firestone didn't tell ford of the problems till after some of the melting treads when it was too late for ford to save face

I think they should be required to buy back any car this problem has been found in from any customer that feals the need to an if they refuse we should export them permanently...

So if the government fines Toyota then who gets the benefit of that money? Only the goverment? What is the planned use of this money?
