Toys for my baby chicks.

If you give them sod, make sure they also have chick grit. As for toys, a small branch they can perch on, a bowl of sand they can bath in, blocks of wood they can play king of the hill on, or a pile of pine shavings they can climb and then kick and scratch in.

My chicks like this ramp I had laying around. It's a piece of wood on a block at an angle. They love to climb it or jump off it or try to fly into it. I have a metal washer that's shiney on a sting too but they only occasionally seem interested in it.

I hung an old CD and a old tp roll from the hardware cloth covering the top. I'm not sure if they love the twine or the cd more ... but they like it. I also have a couple of branches and a rock (both are smooth)

I draw little dots on the inside walls for them to peck at. I have a miniature roost for them to practice on as well. On warm days if I have time I put them outside for 30 minutes. I've never tried sod in the enclosure but I have chicks coming in a week and would love to try it!
