I am just wondering how you breeders keep track of who breeds to who. I know most everyone uses bands but I am looking for ideas tracking everything on paper. I once bought a computer program called chickchart but the program never ran right. I wished it had, it would have made life much easier.

Any photos of your paperwork? I would love to see how others do it.

I would also like to see it.

Where to you buy bands? I've got to get some for my really good birds and then I've got to start marking eggs before hatching.

Quote:This is where I buy bands .... there are other places, too. I haven't checked around lately, for prices. I know they come in more colors. I use "bandettes," when they are older, and the spiral for the younger ones.

Some use different colors for different generations.
