Griz growled, which he didn't do often. "Putia, you don't understand. Marco and I talked about this before he left. But, I will go after him."

Ria ran to keep up with Moonless panting slightl as she ran

Moonless pranced back to camp. Her tail held high and her her ear's pointed forward.

Griz growled, which he didn't do often. "Putia, you don't understand. Marco and I talked about this before he left. But, I will go after him."

Putia looked at Griz, her face was stern. "Either you help me, or I go alone. The choice is yours."

"I go after him. You stay here." Griz ordered.

Putia was silent. Surely Griz knew that she wasn't going to stay behind.

"Go to camp." He said before running off

Putia ran after Griz. She wasn't heading back.

Griz didn't notice. He had Marco's scent in his nose and was focused on the goal at hand. His paws hit the snow in a steady rhythm as he bolted across his land to Death's.
