Ria followed she sniffed the air for any scents the wind would blow toward her. Then one hit her, she stood still studying the scent. "I smell... a small herd of... deer, about 2 miles north. There are 5 deer, 2 bucks and 2 doe with a fawn." She told moonless

"Brought in on planes and boats from other places. " He explained, looking over at her.

Marco smiled and rested his head on his paws. The dust stirred as the two dogs breathed. A rat, probably imported with the dogs, watched them from the safety of its nest.
