Putia continued to follow Lance. She was slightly nervous, as she had never been in this part of the forest before.

Lance lead her to a herd of elk. He howled like a coyote and call the back. The elk began to run and lance chased after them, yipping and yelping for the other dogs.

Putia stopped in her tracks. She stared at the elk as they tried to escape the snapping jaws of the dogs.

 

[Americano Blue]

Two dogs ran pat Putia to join Lance in the chase. Soon eight dogs, including Lance were chasing the elk and being them down one by one. When three elk had fallen the dogs stopped and started dragging the kills back. Lance ran up to Putia.

Putia was still frozen in her tracks. She had started shaking, she remembered the bull moose attack on herself and Marco.

Lance nuzzled her. "It's okay, that moose is dead. " he turned and followed the dogs back to camp.

Putia looked down at the ground, she glanced at Lance.

Lance looked behind him at Putia and stopped. He turned around and walked to her. "Ya wanna talk about it?"
