Well, was not planning on mounting an engine, the ones I restore are cast iron, would weigh somewhat more than an additional 80 lbs. plus the mechanism. What a novel idea, and a great install for the 1938 ZZ Briggs I am working on!! Would require a solid axle to drive 2 wheels, or a single wheel mounted in the middle of one end...lower the side wheels, crank her up, give it a little gas and engage a repurposed transmission to drive the single steerable center mounted drive wheels. The neighbors would understand, of course! These old engines have a distinctive low pitched thump..add a glass pack muffler, and the chickens would think they were cruising down Thunder Road!! Have to look in the scrap piles. Thanks for the thoughtSorry, did I read that right? You’re putting an engine on it? Is it motorized? Now you’ve got to share those pics!
