Does anyones TSC have a MINIMUM to buy for chicks ?
online mine says 10 and I can't remember what the sign said last year

Yes, 4 chicks and 2 ducks here in Florida.

Chick days at any store are bad for me.

I seem to want them all. Was in a store this morning. They had some they have had for a couple weeks marked down to move them out for the shipment coming this week.

I ended up brining 20 home all pullets 1.50 ea.

8 barred rocks.
5 Rhode island reds.
3 slw.
4 out of the rainbow layer pen.

Also having trouble finding white leghorn. So I ordered 25 of those straight run cause I need a roo.

Was going to try and restrain myself. But my self control is weak around baby chicks. Lol

Online, ours is 10, in the store this year it is 4, changed from 6 last year.

My Mom sent me pics of chicks at TSC yesterday. They have leghorns mislabeled as Welsummers and buff orpingtons. Kind of surprises me, not much selection. Although, the town she lives in is more about horses and utv's.

Rock Hill SC (just outside Charlotte) we have barred rocks and French copper m arans. Southern States had many, many, more, like 5-6 different ones. They will even be getting some polish ones.

Mine has broilers and a bin that says Brown chickens. They always have such a WONDERFUL variety.

They were straight-run, but we're basically city folk and nobody wants meat birds... so they didn't sell for the longest time lol. They were 2 or 3 weeks old when someone finally bought the lot.

Oakdale/Imperial's minimum is 4 chicks or 2 ducklings. Last year it was 6 chicks or 2 ducklings.
