Tractor Supply Chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol not sure if they carry chocins specificly but they had assorted bantems thats where they were but they are cute what about the color they are grey now
i can't help there, lol
You can tell they are not silkier because of three things that are evident in the pictures.
1) their feathers are not silkied
2) their skin is not black
3) they have four those on each foot (right?)

Sometimes you will get some silkied with not great skin tone or more/less than 5 toes, but those three together...I sure do love cochins lol

yes 4 toes per foot and the beaks and legs arent darkening up like the others

I went to our local tractor supply today, in Ohio. I called and asked if they had silkies. They said yes, about 30, so I headed on up. My daughter and I just incubated 10 silkie eggs I bought on eBay and 2 hatched. I was hoping for 4-5 so I headed to TS. Had to buy 6, but I got 2 buff, maybe a splash and 3 white silkies out if the bantam bin! All have 5 toes (except 1 has one of his 5th toes almost non-existent), black skin and feathered legs. We'll see what happens. The chicks I hatched are a gorgeous black showgirl and black bearded silkie. Very cute.

sorry to hear of this on ur silkies couldn't u pick the better ones out ..at my tractor store thye let me pick the ones I want ..well hope u have good luck the way I have ..

The person ordering the chicks at that individual store knows. Mine quit a couple of weeks ago. Some are still going and will be for a while. For information about a specific store, talk to people at that specific store.
