lol meee too so many lovely chicksI too am mostly glad that TSC requires a 6 chick purchase minimum...or I would have probably brought home more chicks than I did!
However, in the future, I can see how it would be aggravating, since we may only need a few to get a a time.
my chicks had pasty butt as well but didnt have too much problem with it after i read the pasty butt thread on here followed the advice and havent had a problem since.the cochins being frizzle is cool. i got 2 that were kinda grey they turned out to be what i think and have been told maybe D'Uucle but unfortunely i lost one of them this past weekMy TSC chicks were the neediest, runtiest chicks I've ever come across. My store orders from Privett. I lost 2 of 8 and all have fought pasty butt for the 3 weeks I've had them. On the bright side, both if my bantam Cochin turned out to be frizzled

i didnt even think about taking it back i wonder if they will still give me another to replace itI've also had problems with my Bantams from TSC afflicted with Pasty Butt. I had to cure it by following the advice here on BYC. I was able to get two D'Uculle and three Seabrights but unfortunately one of the Seabrights was returned to them after it prolapsed. I am reading that these type of problems are common with TSC although I have not had it with any of their regular sized chicks, only my Bantams.

the 3 i got with pasty butt was cured within 1 week3 of 12 of the chicks we got from TSC had pasty butt. 1 of them took about a week and a half to clear up, the other 2 were cleared up after 2 days.![]()
