I bought my chicks today too! They had buff orpingtons and black austrolorps! I also got two pekin ducks. I was hoping for khakis and bantam chicks, but maybe next shipment! Then I found a guy who was selling bc marans and ees. Got some of them too, lol!

I just bought some BR I ordered 5 they gave me 5. Extremely rude people over the phone and in person, didn't know a lick of **** about the chicks as they come from a hatchery. Got them home in a small pen and one is attacking the other 4. Never again will I spend $$$ at the Belleville, ON. store. Save your money from those over priced thieves and go straight to a reputable hatchery!! The bully is now in the main pen with 2week old WR an the 4week old BR thatll fix em

We purchased our chicks from the TS store in Columbia, Missouri and can't say enough positive things about the staff or the chicks. The folks there are well-versed in chicken lore (?). We asked where our chicks were from and they gave us the contact info for the hatchery. No complaints at all here!

You can't put young chicks in with older girls! That is asking for trouble and has nothing to do with where they were purchased.
