ok, getting serious about using saws and screws.
Someone please do your best to talk me into one roof or the other, Aframe, or flat?
Anyone want to push me one way or the other?
disclaimer: i am a relatively large dude, both height and width, need a full size door to walk thru and a good 7' of head clearance in most of the coop. this is why i am leaning towards flat, and it seems to be much easier to consrtuct.

I went with a lean-to and added an overhang to make it almost saltbox in appearance. It allows ventilation on the top, bottom and sides of the roof.So you mean a gable roof or a shed roof.
Go with the flat if it's easier for you to build.
