I am right there with you! I just turned on my incubator today to test out the temps.Good luck, last time I did it I got 50% hatch rate. It was fun but I have better success using locally bought freash eggs. I'm crazy for even thinking about starting my incubator in October but I am.
Yeah, i didnt find any at the TJ in olympia. I know other stores in the area have them though, so I might try them.I am right there with you! I just turned on my incubator today to test out the temps.
I just wish the TJ's in my state carried the fertile eggs you have in California. I have yet to see fertile eggs in any stores in Washington state.
I have recently contacted both the new Trader Joes, and the Whole Foods here in San Antonio, both of the people i talked to thought i was crazy... ~Naomi
the eggs i hatched from tjs were 18 days old. 14/24 hatchedIt's really hard for them to wrap their heads around it.
The TJ here doesn't carry fertile eggs and the WF has them but they're always a couple weeks old when they get them. They travel from the farm in Wisconsin, then to the distribution center in Chicago and eventually to St. Louis.
