I get mine from a local health food store. First batch of fridge chicks hatched 1 week ago.

Interesting the coloring on your TJ birds. We had white and then a couple with dots and only one had a grey wing streak. No rust or browns in ours.

I wonder how many egg plants TJ's packs and ships from? And where? I'm thinking they must have something in CO or AZ for the southwest. I cannot imagine that they ship all their eggs from CA for parts east.

Nice looking birds! The 26 here were still kind of tween dino-like and a bit of fuzzy when they sold, so DH enjoyed seeing yours and what ours might have looked like if we had hung on a few weeks longer.

Final tally, we ended up with six babies out of twelve eggs, they eggs were two weeks old and refrigerated before incubation, most the peeps needed assistance escaping their eggs.
