Crossing my fingers for you! Our local organic store doesn't carry them anymore and I'm dying to try this :-/

I'm envious. We only have the 1 and when I asked they said that nobody ever bought them so they quit carrying them. There are a lot of local eggs for sale. The kind with the little sign in the driveway. But everyone I've stopped and talked to has no Roos. Mine must be one of the only ones that didn't end up in a soup pot. I plan to look around the next time I'm in Portland.
No college town, put any catch phrase like organic, all natural etc etc etc you could have a one thousand percent mark up and still sell whatever......

Joining this thread! I got two dozen white fertile eggs from Trader Joe's to set tonight. They will go in with eggs from my sister's flock and some from mine. If any of the TJs eggs hatch they will be going to join my sister's flock, she's hoping for white eggs for her egg basket.
I got the freshest ones I could find. The cartons say they expire May 10th.

The flock that my hatching eggs came from was using a Hy-line brown rooster. Eggs will be light brown with that cross. I hope they will lay some pearl eggs though.Joining this thread! So I hatched a bunch of Winco and trader joes eggs in fall..I gave my friend what I thought was a trader joes hen but I now believe to be a Winco hen...check out her egg color
and yes both eggs are from the same hen..she layed a jumbo the other day.
Thanks so much for this! According to this my TJ eggs were seven days old when I set them.
